Choosing to see

I choose to see the blessings today.

The sun is shining. The grass is beginning to turn green.

Little buds are beginning to form on the trees. The green of spring is finally showing.

Life is returning.

The birds chirp their excitement as the sun crests in the morning.

My family is safe.

We have food.

We have love.

God smiles down on us.
